What Should You Write? The Power of Reflection
Think about your time with GlamourGals and jot down your thoughts. What were some of your favorite moments?
Your journal should be at least five sentences long and can be about any of the following:
GG Senior Home visits: What were some of your favorite moments? Did you meet any amazing seniors?
Chapter meetings: What did you talk about? Did you have any ideas for the chapter?
GG National Leadership events: Did you meet new people? What did you learn about being a leader?
Personal reflections: How does being a GlamourGal make you feel? What advice would you give to someone new?
Prompts: GG National has a section full of rich prompts to help you get unstuck when your brain hits a wall. And don’t miss our “Journal Prompt of the Month” in the monthly digest—it’s a creative challenge to unlock your imagination!
Your journal is a way to express your GlamourGals journey, so get creative and share your unique perspective. The goal is to capture your experiences and connect with others (plus work towards an Intergenerational Service Award!). If any journals don’t meet the guidelines, they can be removed at GG National’s discretion, but if you have questions, reach out—we’re here to help!
