Chapter Meeting Agenda

Gathering for GG meetings is an important step to making an impact. Organized meetings with clear and relevant actions give volunteers guidance and encourage them to receive the recognition they deserve. Also, your meetings (schedule one now) count toward your service hours (don’t forget to submit a service report!).

SAMPLE AGENDA:

  • Introductions & follow on social

  • Introduce Chapter Leaders 

  • Follow @glamourgals & your chapter’s Instagram account

  • Pass around the sign in sheet

    • Collect the names, emails, and phone numbers of volunteers in attendance 

    • Invite new volunteers to create accounts on GG Chapters and add them to a group chat or email blast

  • Get to know one another

    • Ice breaker! (Text GG National at 631.525.3339 for ideas – we’ve got you covered)

  • Share your goals & GG overview

  • GG Chapters

    • Why it's important & What’s on it

    • Update your profile, journal, track your service hours!

  • Brainstorm new ideas!

    • Keep notes and reshare at your next meeting (hold an officer meeting in between to flush those new ideas out!)

  • Share the date and time of the next GG Senior Home Visit

    • Prompt volunteers to pull out their phone and put it in their calendar

    • Always make time and review how to give a signature GG makeover or give manicure (Hey - this is a great next meeting!)

  • Write a journal and share your personal goals for the GG service year.

  • Snap a group photo and post and encourage everyone to share.
