Give GG Makeovers

Guidelines:

  • Always wash your hands before and after a makeover

  • Never use eye makeup or do a senior’s hair

Advice from GG National:

Foundation

  • Make a custom tinted moisturizer by mixing a little bit of foundation with a dime-sized puddle of moisturizer on a cotton pad

    • If a skin tone does not match the color of the foundations you have, you can mix different foundation shades. You can also add more moisturizer to make the color more sheer.

  • Apply foundation with a foundation sponge

  • Blend the foundation evenly on the face, taking care not to get close to the eyes.

Blush

  • Lightly apply blush with a disposable brush

    • A darker pink blush will go well on darker skin

  •  Ask the senior to smile, apply the blush at the apple of the cheek, and extend the color out to temples.

Lipstick

  • With a lipstick spatula, carefully scrape off a small amount of lipstick.

  • With a lip brush, apply lipstick from the spatula.

  • Start from the center of the senior’s lips and brush the lipstick outward, filling in all the gaps.

Does your senior home still have a mask mandate? No problem, stick to giving GG manicures. 💅
